Jack’s hometown is Logan, West Virginia where he worked at a local radio station, WVOW. He attended Davidson College and graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s degree in History. From 1970 until present Jack has worked extensively in the Tampa Bay radio and television market. Jack has been a member of the broadcast team of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for many years, as well as the Storm and the Outback Bowl.

He has been a host of several number one rated radio and television shows and is currently co-host of AM Tampa Bay on FOX radio 970 WFLA. “Cracker” Jack also served as honorary Mayor of Ybor City and is the author of “Jack Harris Unwrapped: Ruminations, Recipes and Robust Raillery.” Jack is married to Joy. Together they have a son Jackson who is also an avid gastronome.
